Big Baller Brand gear is strictly cut out for big ballers, and Los Angeles Lakers rookie forward Kyle Kuzma apparently doesn't fall into that category. Kuzma, who the Lakers selected 27th overall in the NBA Draft, recently took to instagram to troll his fellow rookie teammate, Lonzo Ball, over the outrageously priced Big Baller Brand apparel.
Following the Lakers' 113-109 overtime loss to the New York Knicks a few days ago, Kuzma took to instagram to share a photo of Lonzo in his photoshopped Illmatic hoodie and his "$600" BBB fitted.
Big Baller Brand hats, like the one Lonzo was wearing in Kuzma's IG story, typically sell for $50-60, while Lonzo's signature shoe, the ZO2 Prime, carries a hefty $495 price tag. T-shirts also go in the $50 range, but don't expect to see Kuz rocking any BBB gear - unless the Big Baller himself blesses the Lakers squad with free merch for the Holidays.
Kuz, Lonzo and the rest of the Lakers will wrap up their four-game East Coast trip tonight with a showdown against LeBron James and the Cavs in Cleveland. The Lakers will then return home for a matchup against the defending champion Golden State Warriors on Monday night, which is also when the franchise will officially retire Kobe Bryant's #8 and #24 jerseys.
