Detroit rapper Chavis Chandler's been putting in work over the years and first caught many people's attention when he linked up with Danny Brown for his song, "Style." Over the years, he's released several dope projects including SANG2ME and The Call Of The Wild. Today, he drops off his latest single, "Hell & Back" with fellow Detroit emcee, Royce Da 5'9".
Royce comes through with a guest appearance on Chavis latest single, "Hell & Back." The two of them have collaborated on several occasions, most recently on Royce and DJ Premier's PRhyme 2 cut "Everyday Struggle." It's a raw song that finds them reflecting on the lessons they've learned from the difficult times. "Hell & Back" was produced by Crowe & Dennis Mars.
As Chavis comes through with his first single in a few months, get prepared for his debut album, One Winged Angel to drop in June.
Quotable Lyrics
I live by a simple code of defence
They tried to blackball me, I kicked it over the fence
I was smart enough to know that I'm not in a rush
I stumble on to my most bucks, not trippin' over the sense
