With hip-hop now a global powerhouse, capable of selling out massive venues outside the United States, it's only natural to see that some of America's most popular emcees are being asked to travel to far-off continents to entertain their fans abroad. Case in point are Young Thug and Future, two Atlanta scene staples who, in the early part of 2018, will be making their presence felt Down Under.
Both rappers are set to appear in Brisbane in late February, as part of the Sydney City Limits music festival. The Brisbane show will see them getting support from local rap acts with support from local acts Tkay Maidza and B Wise. Afterwards, Young Thug will be headlining a solo show in Melbourne at Festival Hall later on that month. The pair were supposed to treat fans to shows in Sydney and Brisbane as part of their previous tour, but they cancelled those dates in the end. No doubt fans in Australia will be ecstatic to see them back.
If that weren't enough, New Zealand supporters of Young Thug and Future will be happy to know that they won't be left out in the cold. The duo will also be performing at Auckland City Limits, which is an offshoot of the aforementioned festival, in early March of 2018. The event is taking place in Western Springs, with separate shows scheduled for each rapper. Surely fans will be hoping to see them perform at least a couple of tracks together on the same stage at some point.
Both rappers had outstanding years, but how many of their songs made our list of the best of 2017? Find out now!
