On the way to celebrate his birthday in Miami, Rick Ross was the victim of a drive by shooting, and he avoided gunshots by driving off the road and into a building. The MMG Bawse has been semi lowkey since, but did not suffer any major injuries. Now on the red carpet of this year's Grammys, Rozay talked to MTV about the shooting and says he is remaining positve, and there are currently no suspects on the shooting.
Asked if authorities had any leads on the shooters, Ross said they did not, and mentions that he will make some changes, but will continue to make new music, "[There are] no suspects and we not here to speculate on any suspects...I'm just staying positive, I'm moving forward and I'm just staying on top of my game." Ricky goes onto add, "You most definitely gotta make some adjustments, but at the same time I'mma live my life and I'mma do what I love to do, and that's make music."
Talking about what to expect from him and MMG for 2013, Rick Ross said his next solo album is his primary focus, "MMG, we got the biggest releases of this year coming so that's my focus. Mastermind this year, Wale coming, Stalley coming, Omarion coming — the team coming. We working."
