This summer, Game recorded a fight between himself and feuding rapper 40 Glocc and then posted it on the internet for all to see. 40 then surprised everyone when he filed a lawsuit against the Compton rapper for assault, and for the damage done to his reputation as a thug rapper. Now in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Chuck talks about his altercation with 40 Glocc, and how he had beef with the rapper who shows up to unsuspecting artists photo and video shoots with a crew of guys. He also says he knew it was possibility but never truly thought the G-Unit affiliate would ever take him to court, as it tarnishes his reputation in hip hop.
Jayceon talks about how 40 Glocc roles up on out of town rappers and tries to intimidate them with a large crew, and the Jesus Piece rapper takes exception to this because he feels it makes California rappers look bad. "As far as Los Angeles Hip Hop is concerned, I'm sort of at the top of the totem pole. Anything that's a bad representation of me and my region, it's not pretty cool at all," Game goes onto explain, "You got this guy named 40 Glocc who I call Lawrence White... What happens is, he hears about rappers or artists coming to Los Angeles - whether here for awards or here to shoot a video - he rounds up whatever street guys, thugs or not, that he can, and he'll come to your video shoot or wherever you're at in the masses, 40 or 50 deep, and he'll put you in a situation."
Talking about his beef with 40, the Cali rapper says it started when he out of nowhere started calling Game out and then taking shots at his son on Twitter, "Number one, it was a battle that was being fought on the foundation that he talked about my kids." He then adds he never imagined 40 Glocc would sue as it would kill any street credibility he had, "Number two, I don't think that he was going to sue. That's the thing with rappers. If you sue, your rap career is done because that disintegrates your street cred. So I thought, this is one of the most street guys ever in Hip Hop, right? Says his mouth and the Internet. So I didn't think he would sue."
The lawsuit doesn't worry Game as he says he has enough money to just pay Glocc off, "We'll take care of that. We'll address it accordingly and we'll get out of there."
