Sonny Digital goes easy on Lil Xan.

Last week it was Rae Sremmurd who was asking people to go easy on Lil Xan over his Tupac comments and this week it's Sonny Digital. After Xan said Pac's music is "boring" people went after him, ridiculing the young rapper. Sonny, on the other hand, doesn't blame Xan, saying it's not his fault he never grew up in that generation.

"Lil Xan, I'm not sure how old he is, but I know he's young," Sonny told XXL. "A lot of these young kids, you can't hold them for not knowing Tupac and stuff. That's not what they grew up listening to. The same people that's bashing them for not knowing Tupac, you can kinda bash them for not knowing all the hits from when they parents was alive."

He added: "I just don't hold it against him, though... that's not they era. If you like it, you like it. If you don't, you don't. Life gon' keep on going on."

The two previously collaborated on the track "I Got" a few months back so it's safe to say Sonny knows Xan on a real level.

After Lil Xan said his fighting words, the man of wisdom, T.I.commented on Xan's opinion saying: "The younger generation wants to be respected. They feel that that respect comes from the disrespect of the former generation."

What do you guys think?
