Mike Will goes back and forth with Akademiks over his critiques of "Sremmlife 3."

Rae Sremmurd has been working extensively on the upcoming Sremmlife 3 which is set to be a triple album. Sr3mm along with the solo ventures Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi have been working on in Swaecation and Jxmtroduction have fans of the duo eager to hear more from the group. The releases of "Powerglide," "Hurt To Look," and "Brxnks Truck" were just a teaser as the album is reportedly set to include a total of 27 songs, which got DJ Akademiks up in arms critiquing them for choosing quantity over quality.

Ak praised the duo for their "Powerglide" single, which led Mike Will to his mentions, calling him out on switching sides. "Now he a believer, lol these trolls kill me," tweeted Mike Will to which Akademiks responded that he never claimed their music was trash, just that he was not interested in a 40+ song album. The point is fair enough although Mike's rebuttal makes clear that their decision to create so many songs is based on "timing" and "trendsetting ideas." The conversation went back and forth with the producer asking, "When the last time or anytime we seen a triple disc ? And who can really get enough Sremm ?"

At this point, it feels as if Rae Sremmurd can do no wrong when teamed up with Mike Will. The pair regularly makes magic together and if "Powerglide" is any indication of where this album is headed, it'll be an absolute banger.
