T.I. doesn't want to get involved with the inner workings of an NFL team.

The public outcry for change in the NFL ownership regime has been sustained for pretty much the entire season, which could be one of the reasons ratings for the televised games has dipped so precipitously. While Diddy and Steph Curry are preparing to do what it takes to purchase the NFL's Carolina Panthers, one of the league's most outspoken critics says he'll stay on the sidelines in the ownership game.

T.I. caught up with TMZ Sports and was asked that, now that the Bad Boy mogul has joined the fray and will be putting forth a bid for at least part of Panthers' ownership, the ATL mainstay says that plunking down some cash for a slice of a pro team doesn't interest him. Why? Because he'd still have to answer to somebody.

He made it clear that he's unwilling to spend that kind of money on an investment that won't let him do what he wants, when he wants to. "The NFl, they gonna be the true dictator of any situation and, you know, [it's] the same reason I don't want a NBA team - I don't wanna have to answer to the NBA." Essentially, when it's tens of millions of dollars on the line, Tip wants to make sure that his voice will be heard and that he'll have control over what he pays for, which is not an unreasonable way of looking at it.

Do you think T.I. would make a good NBA or NFL owner? Let us know in the comments.
