Twitter weighs in on Future and Young Thug's "Super Slimey."

Last night, Future and Young Thug surprised the world by dropping a brand new collaborative mixtape called Super Slimey. Despite the fact that the project has only been out for fewer than twelve hours, early impressions have been coming in fast. Overall, the consensus seems largely positive, with many appreciative of the exciting and spontaneous nature of Super Slimey's release. As far as the music goes, Future and Thug are two of hip-hop's most popular artists today, and their fans were quick to praise the collaborative effort. Many immediate comparisons were made to Future's previous joint project, the divisive What A Time To Be Alive with Drake

Of course, any sort of comparison involving Drake will inevitably lead to some bickering, and many listeners were eager to pair the projects against one another. In fact, some people felt that "Super Slimey" was an upgrade over the Drake project, while others wrote Future and Thugger's creative brainchild off as mere "mumble rap." Still, despite a few vocal haters, people generally tended to celebrate the release as a late-year highlight, expressing their hype with some hilarious GIFS and reactions.

While our review will be dropping next week, feel free to leave your early impressions on Super Slimey in the comment section below. Did ya'll have a favorite track? Did Offset truly spaz on "Patek Water?" Who do you think emerged as the superior rapper? How many times have you played the album? So many questions.
