Boy Better Know & Goldie1 link up on "Athlete."

Hip hop has expanded since its inception and infiltrated the globe. While the U.S. has always dominated the genre, U.K emcees have been slowly rising in prominence with grime and U.K. drill. Skepta's arguably one of the most noticeable figures to many people in North America. We're still waiting for his next album, whenever he decides to release it. Now, he joins the rest of Boy Better Know and Goldie1 for the new single, "Athlete."

Boy Better Know releases their new single, "Athlete" featuring Goldie1. Skepta, Wiley, Shorty, JME, Jammer and Frisco handle the verses on the track while Goldie1 holds down the aggressive hook on the track. They released the single along with a new video. All members of the crew are seen on a track field with all of their people running alongside of them. The crew taps Mystry for production on the track. He delivers an electronic influence beat with some heavy drums kicking in the back.

This is the first time we've heard a Boy Better Know posse cut in a minute and each time they link up, they prove why they're at the top of the grime scene. Hopefully, this song is an indication of a BBK project in the future.

Quotable Lyrics
These kind of riches, you can't rob it
Stand up on a high road, card in my pocket
You don't want it, over the bonnet
Trust me, I run down sonic
