First look at the "Equality" AJ1.

As part of Nike and Jordan Brand's annual Black History Month Collection, a number of special edition sneakers will release in the coming weeks including Nike Basketball's BHM Collection which features the Kyrie 4, LeBron 15 and KD10.

Additionally, Jordan Brand has created an "Equality" Air Jordan 1 which will launch this Sunday, January 15th, aka Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday.

The black and white Air Jordan 1s are highlighted by the unique color blocking, which includes black on the toe-box, tongue, ankle and lace collar, accompanied by gold "Equality" lace dubraes. "Equality" is also stamped in black on both the left and right sneakers. Additionally, Carmelo Anthony's logo is stationed on the tongue, instead of the traditional Jumpman logo or Nike Air branding.

The kicks will reportedly retail for $145. It has not yet been announced which stores will have the sneakers in stock this weekend, but it's already looking like they'll be a somewhat limited release.
