Jeremih Joins Valee On "Womp Womp" Single

Jeremih has been eager to join his contemporaries as a dexterous player. On Valee's new single "Womp Womp," Jeremih delivers the unifying "she give me what I wanna" refrain over minimalist production courtesy Cássio. The X-Rated nursery rhyme is like a warm up for reformed 'good guys' before they jump off the paddywagon. Both performers undergo massive alterations to make this record work. Jeremih's vocal delivery is compromised, Valee pitch is completely rendered, they both incorporate a rhyme pattern that borders on primitive. Admittedly, it works.

Valee's latest EP GOOD Job, You Found Me, executively produced by Kanye West, is out now via G.O.O.D. Music. He has been from the onset, a startling inclusion to the G.O.O.D. Music roster. I for one vouch for his aesthetic choices. They directly contrast many of the characteristics Kanye normally chooses to represent.
