Whether you realized it or not, Mike Will Made It had himself another monstrous year in 2017, contributing to Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble” & “DNA” records, along with Rae Sremmurd’s “Perplexing Pegasus,” Yo Gotti's "Rake It Up," & Ty Dolla Sign’s “Dawsin’s Breek” to name just a few, but thats not even close to all of his work last year. In fact, the ATL hit maker also released a project of his own called Ransom 2, which featured guest appearances from some of the biggest names in the game, including Kendrick Lamar, Rae Sremmurd, Big Sean, Lil Wayne, YG, Pharrell Williams, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Chief Keef, and more. One of the tracks that was quietly slept on from the tape was the song “Aries” with Station Wagon P (aka Pharrell), but it appears that song is about to get an upgraded look soon thanks to an upcoming remix.
On Wednesday, news/artwork surfaced via French website masilia2007 that suggests Mike Will is about to drop “part 2” of his song “Aries,” featuring new verses from Rae Sremmurd, Big Sean and Quavo. Unfortunately there’s no word when the remix will be dropping, but if we had to guess I bet sometime in the next week or two we should expect it.
The upcoming remix was first teased last March when Mike Will said that a remix to “Aries” was on the way, although he didn’t inform us of who would be featured on it or when it’ll be dropping, but now nearly 11 months later we’re finally close to getting it.
While we wait for a release date or confirmation, check out the artwork (below) and listen to the original version right here.
