Drake's is back to conquer the throne this year after releasing two songs at the top of 2018 and several features since then. Each one of his efforts have charted extremely well, as most of Drake's songs. However, "God's Plan" has been making some major feats in Drake's career and is looking like it's the biggest song in his catalog to date. The song debuted at number one upon its release and it's now sitting at the top for a sixth week in a row.
According to Billboard, Drake's "God's Plan" is now at the top of the Hot 100 charts for the sixth week in a row. It came through with 92.8 million streams in the U.S. from Nielsen Music's report which now makes the song hold two of the top four biggest streaming weeks ever.
In addition, chartdata has also reported that Drake's single chart success makes him the first male artist since Elton John to spend its first six weeks on the Hot 100 at number one. "God's Plan" was previously reported as one of the most dominant number one singles of 2018. Chartdata also said that the single is now eligible to be four times platinum after six weeks' since his release.
While Drake continues to hold the top spot for six weeks straight, Post Malone's "Psycho" debuted at number 2 which makes it his second highest charting debut, following the release of "Rockstar" with 21 Savage. Will it end up overthrowing Drake? We'll have to see next week.
