Kanye West took to his favorite social media platform, Twitter, to announce an upcoming single. The rapper announced "Lift Yourself" and said that the verse would give Ebro the "closure he's been seeking" as well a ton of fire emoji's. Fans were incredibly excited to hear what he's cooked up as he's recently announced his forthcoming album. However, "Lift Yourself" was simply a troll, despite the fact the production was pretty tough. Now, it seems as if the song has already sparked a remix.
Less than 24 hours since Kanye West released "Lift Yourself," Smokepurpp has already gone into the booth and dropped his own remix. Smokepurpp mirrors Kanye's trolling on the song in several ways. He adlibs over the production while giving a shout out to J. Cole and deeming himself your favourite lyricist in addition to yelling gibberish. He also shared it on his website, just like Yeezy dropped his.
Aside from his remix, the rapper dropped his collaboration with Smokepurpp a few weeks back and has already revealed that he's working on his next project. He's yet to reveal any further details but stay tuned for more info. Check out his "Lift Yourself" remix here.
