He's officially back! Listen to Kanye West's new single "Ye Vs The People" featuring T.I.

Kanye West has been all over the news this past week after he made some questionable comments about Donald Trump. Ye said that he loved Donald Trump & that the two of them were “both dragon energy.” He then criticized Barack Obama and was later spotted rocking the MAGA hat, all of which appears to be one big troll job to draw attention to his upcoming album. Well it worked. With all eyes on Kanye’s every move right now, the Chicago Calabasas rapper decided to come through Friday night and premiere a new single with T.I. on Power106 LA called “Ye Vs The People.”

Following his troll job on “Lift Yourself,” “Ye Vs The People” finds Kanye & Tip going back & forth addressing the backlash & reality of Kanye’s Trump comments. Ye starts the song off with, “I know Obama was Heaven-sent/ But ever since Trump won it proved that I could be President,” before later addressing wanting to be unified. “You just readin' the headlines, you don't see the fine print/ You on some choosin'-side shit, I'm on some unified shit,” he spits.

Yeezy even raps about wearing his Maga hat, saying he wore it to show them all people are equal. "Bruh, I never ever stopped fightin' for the people/ Actually wearin' the hat'll show people that we're equal,” Ye raps.

It's safe to assume this will be the first offering from his upcoming album, but that hasn't technically been confirmed.

The song is also available to stream on KanyeWest.com.

Quotable Lyrics:

I feel an obligation to show people new ideas
And if you wanna hear 'em, here go two right here
Make America Great Again, had a negative reception
I took it, wore it, rocked it, gave it a new direction
Added empathy, care and love and affection
And y'all simply questionin' my methods
