Last night, the controversial YoungBoy Never Broke again dropped off his anticipated album Until Death Call My Name. While a judge-imposed social media embargo prevented the Baton Rouge rapper from promoting his labor to its full potential, his loyal following kept it one hundred nevertheless. While the project features plenty of bangers, there's something iconic about a Birdman appearance, for better or worse. The Cash Money mogul has become somewhat of a public enemy, but remains one of hip-hop's most enigmatic figures.
Now, YoungBoy and Birdman, known by some as NBA Youngbird, have united for "We Poppin." The track immediately evokes the bounce of vintage Cash Money, with a tinge of West Coast sonics. While you might have expected Birdman to hold it down with some introductory shit-talking, the rapper actually comes through with a verse, throwing his considerable wallet around with practiced arrogance. "I'm too official got black diamonds in my chain," raps Birdman, "I ran it up you n***as goin' through the same."

Quotable Lyrics
We get that money in U.S. and flip it overseas
Transport that pack with a trunk full of hella keys
I'm from a town where my round will bust and flee
Bitch n****s hatin can't run that money up like me
