As we reported not long ago, both Quavo and 2 Chainz were on the losing side of a bet with Drake that hinged on the outcome of this week's College Football Playoff National Championship Game. The Georgia Bulldogs, the team that the former two rappers were rooting for, ended up falling in last-second fashion to Alabama, which resulted in Drizzy celebrating their victory on social media and for good reason - he made bank in the process.
However, as the Migos member showed TMZ Sports, the fact that Drake won what he called a "friendly" bet doesn't mean that he's short on cash. In fact, it's quite the opposite. To prove his point, the young rapper held up a large handful of Benjamins for the camera, fanning them out for full effect. Forget even his Migos earnings - having to fork over some cash to the Six God probably didn't even make a dent in his Hunco Jack, Jack Huncho earnings thus far, with the Travis Scott collab album continuing to crush it in terms of streaming numbers. Check out his full response below.
Drake isn't the only one who could be benefiting financially from Quavo's presence in the near future. According to reports, the all-world emcee is gearing up to release a track with Iggy Azalea, who had a difficult 2017 music-wise. Her singles "Mo Bounce" and "Switch" were non-starters in the world of radio, which led to her record company pulling an already-completed album from their release schedule. With Quavo lending a helping hand, Iggy is surely hoping that this upcoming material can turn her fortunes around.
