This morning, the internet awoke to find out rapper Lil Peep had died from a drug overdose at the age of 21, leaving friends, family, and fans struggling to cope with the the tragic news. You might remember Peep from his debut album Come Over When You're Sober Pt. 1, which featured a distinct blend of hip-hop production and emo lyricism. With melodies reminiscent of bands like Brand New, Peep's music transcended genre, leaving many fans intrigued by his unique musical direction. Unfortunately, we'll never get to see a part 2, but Peep's legacy will be immortalized by the lives he touched. Many in the hip-hop community have shared their condolences, memories, and praise of Peep as an artist and as a person.

Lil Peep reportedly died from overdosing on fake Xanax, that was unfortunately laced with Fentanyl. Rest in peace, Peep.
