The Cleveland Cavaliers were far and away the most active team at the NBA trade deadline, sending six different players packing in an effort to get younger without sacrificing their NBA title hopes this season.
While the Cavs made the biggest splash, they weren't the only NBA team that was wheeling and dealing yesterday.
Before we get into the players who found new homes, we should first point out the guys like DeAndre Jordan, Lou Williams and Tyreke Evans, who are all staying put. Williams actually agreed to a three-year $24 million extension with the Clippers.
Teams like the Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors, who reportedly hoped to bolster their rosters heading into the playoffs, were all inactive at the deadline.
Here's a recap of what did happen:
Cleveland Cavs:
-- Acquired Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. in exchange for Isaiah Thomas, Channing Frye and Cleveland's 2018 first round pick
-- Acquired Rodney Hood and George Hill as part of 3-team trade in which they sent Jae Crowder and Derrick Rose to Utah, and Iman Shumpert to Sacramento
-- Traded Dwyane Wade to Miami in exchange for a "heavily protected" second round pick
New York Knicks:
-- Acquired Emmanuel Mudiay in 3-team trade in which their second round pick was sent to Denver, and Doug McDermott was dealt to Dallas
