An LA promoter is claiming that a member of Tunechi's entourage attacked him with a skateboard last May, and is just now taking legal action.

Lil' Wayne isn't known for being levelheaded. Just last week, he blew up at a cameraman during a Celebrity Beach Bowl football game after the man shoved him out of the way (to his credit, he did explain himself).

Now, LA Weekly has reported that California music promoter Alfredo Marino is preparing to sue Wayne for an assault he claims took place last May near the Odd Future store in Los Angeles. He planned on buying a shirt for his daughter at the store, but apparently ended up being knocked unconscious by a blow from a skateboard to the back of the head. After spotting Wayne outside the shop and approaching him for a picture, witnesses claim one of the his bodyguards hit Marino after being instructed to do so by the rapper.

"The bodyguards started tripping and saying, 'I told you that Lil' Wayne does not want to be bothered,'" he said. "I told them I have taken pictures of tons of people and I just want to show my friends that I saw Lil' Wayne. They started calling me a 'groupie' and I said, 'I ain't no groupie.'"

It was at that point that Tunechi's entourage surrounded and attacked him. After regaining consciousness, Marino was taken to the Cedars-Sinai hospital and treated for a concussion and vertigo.

The New Orleans rapper will be beginning a European tour shortly, and as such Marino's lawyer is pressing to have the lawsuit served as soon as possible, while he's still in town. He filed it today.

So far, there's been no response from Wayne's camp. There's word that a Cash Money label party has been organized at an undisclosed location in West Hollywood tomorrow evening, and Wayne is scheduled to make an appearance. Stay tuned.
