Throughout the summer, rumours circulated that two of hip-hops hottest groups in Slaughterhouse and Black Hippy were collaborating on a track. Recently, in an interview with LA Leakers, one quarter of Slaughterhouse, Joe Budden spoke about the possibility of a collaboration between the two super-groups.
Budden was discussing his track with Ab-Soul, "Cut From a Different Cloth," on his latest mixtape, A Loose Quarter, when he confirmed the duo have several songs recorded together. As for the collaboration between all eight members of Slaughterhouse and Black Hippy, Joey remained skeptical but open to the possibility of it.
"Ab-Soul what up - yeah, we've got a couple of more joints that we did. I ain't put 'em on the tape, but they'll be seeing the light of day soon," Budden said. "[A Slaughterhouse/Black Hippy collaboration] is too much, that's too much. That's too many people for me to…I don't know. If it happens, great - naturally, I'd be all for it. I'm down to rap with any rapper that wants to rap."
