Last March, Pizza Hut collaborated with well known sneaker customizer The Shoe Surgeon on a limited run of "Pie Top" sneakers that were capable of ordering a pizza to your location with the push of the tongue. Today, Pizza Hut, “the Official Pizza of the NCAA March Madness and the Final Four,” unveiled the Shoe Surgeon's "Pie Top II" which comes in two coloways, "Marinara Red" and "Wheat."
Just like the first run in 2017, these limited edition sneakers are fully capable of ordering a pizza with the push of a button. Additionally, the shoes can also be used to pause the game you're watching, just in case your TV remote is MIA when your delivery arrives. The kicks feature “extreme marinara splash, cheese grater mesh, branded Pizza Hunt lace tags, extra ‘cheese pull’ laces, and branded inner soles.”
The limited edition Pie Top IIs will be available to purchase via Hypebeast on March 19. Details regarding the release, including how to buy one of the 50 pairs, will be shared on Hypebeast and PizzaHut’s Twitter accounts.
