The video game series Grand Theft Auto has enjoyed a tremendous amount of success across different consoles over the years. Known for its dazzlingly violent gameplay and engrossing storylines, the games also feature some seriously cool radio stations that gamers are able to adjust to their liking, so that they can have some wicked music blasting out of their digital whip while cruising down the blood-stained streets. Now, one of R&B preeminent voices is making his presence felt on the fifth installment in the franchise.
According to Frank Ocean's Tumblr page, which you can see a screencap of below, he's bringing his blonded radio to the world of Grand Theft Auto. Located at the 97.8 FM point on the game's digital dial, the new Los Santos radio station has the singer's fingerprints all over it. It will include general chat and Ocean-curated tracks that span multiple genres. There are also some choice Ocean cuts that will be thrown into the mix, giving fans of the game an all-encompassing Ocean experience.
The exclusive station will be available on both Grand Theft Auto V and GTA online. It will also boast co-hosts Vegyn, Fed, and Roof Access. The track selection is as eclectic as it is varied, with songs from Lil Uzi Vert, Migos, Schoolboy Q, Panda Bear, Marvin Gaye, Jay Z, Aphex Twin, Burial, Future, JME, Les Ya Toupas Du Zaire and more all being a part of this really cool new feature.
