Last week, we pulled off another event as part of our world domination plans for FIRE EMOJI. FIRE EMOJI, if you're living asleep, is our Spotify playlist that we update daily with our favorite fire finds, all relatively new, thus it's a playlist that might introduce you to a dope new artist or else simply keep you up to date with any (dope) new music. We share the playlist every Friday on the website, following a week's worth of updates, so it's ready to soundtrack the entire weekend.
Taking things a step further, we've worked to bring you an artist that we've included on FIRE EMOJI playlist in the past (present or future, too), with the FIRE EMOJI Live event. We're tackling New York at the moment, but re: world domination plans, we will get to other parts of the world soon enough.
The show, which featured headliner Lil Wop, alongside Wop's artist Chxpo and up & comer Lil West, went down at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, and as you might expect from artists as hardcore as these three, some moshing did ensue.
Check out the short recap video and follow our FIRE EMOJI Spotify playlist right here. Let us know in the comments: who should perform at the next FIRE EMOJI Live event? Any necessary playlist additions we should make?
For inquiring minds: the music featured in the video belongs to Lil West - "Marry Me."
