Today's the day that Gucci Mane and his fiancee, Keyshia Ka'oir, become husband and wife. The two are tying the knot at Miami’s Four Seasons hotel that boasts a $1M dollar budget with a 200 person guest list. The evening will have a special live streaming premiere on BET called "The Mane Event” that airs tonight at 10PM. The events leading up to the wedding will be aired in 10 parts that will be broadcasted at a later time.
Two guests in attendance are 2 Chainz and his long-time love Kesha Ward. Chainz shared a few images to Instagram of him and his wife decked out in all-white matching get-ups look ready for the grand celebration. He captioned the pics with, "On the way to Wop Wedding , looking like it !!!"
Karrueche also shared a pic to the gram of her rocking a long white gown with the caption, "#THEWOPSTERS."
It may seem odd that guests are wearing white to a wedding, but Karrueche, Chainz and his lady are simply following the protocol that Keyshia set.
“I have a security team … and I have a dress code as well. All the women have to wear a gown, as if you are getting married. And the men have to wear white suits. Even my camera crew has to wear white. If you don’t come dressed accordingly you have to leave, and I am so serious. If you come wearing something else then you were not invited,” she said previously.
We reported earlier on the balled out gift Gucci bought his lady for their special day. He purchased Keyshia a baby blue Rolls Royce Wraith that matches his red one. The gift was delivered to her when the two had their rehearsal dinner last night (Monday) where tons of photos surfaced of the couple in matching red attire looking the happiest.
Keyshia and Gucci first met on the set of his “911 Emergency” video shoot. After they hit things off Keyshia went on tour with him in 2010 where things took off from there.
"That is when it really started to get serious. I fell in love with Gucci when I bathed him … I put him in a shower and just bathed him. I just did things to him and he looked at me and said, ‘Wow, no one has ever bathed me before,'” she said. “I am a traditional Jamaican lady, that is what you do. You take care of your man,” she explained.
