Mozzy, the Sacramento, California rapper co-signed by Kendrick Lamar, releases his latest single and music video, "Do It for Dooterz."
On the track, Mozzy raps about cashing checks, steering whips, and being successful for those he cares about. His flow is energetic and rides gracefully over the whistle-like production. Mozzy follows the same themes in the video as well, showing off his diamonds and hanging out in nice cars. It all flows together very nicely.
Mozzy's last project, a six-song EP titled, Spiritual Conversations, was a very solid release, and "Do It for Dooterz" continues that level of quality. Hopefully this new single is part of the lead up to his upcoming full-length album, Gangland Landlord.
