Whenever Gucci Mane drops a project, it's worth a listen as he has become one of Atlanta's legends, upping his game to create a consistent catalog of hits of late. Always repping a strong list of talent, ATL rap has been influential in shaping the sound of hip-hop to this day. Gucci has had a large part in the movement, influencing a great number of artists including the Migos and Lil Yachty. As Gucci's 1017 Eskimo Boys eye an April 6 release date for their joint project, the supergroup of Wop, Migos and Boat will be dropping the following week on April 13.
Guwop will have a busy two weeks prior to both releases but it is almost certain that people will tune in for both, given his attachment to the projects. Having previously released the "Solitaire" single, which has gone slightly under the radar, Gucci and company will look to build on the wave of momentum that each member of the "Glacier Boyz" has. The aforementioned track appears to have visuals in the works as Wop showed off his ice alongside Lil Yachty and Quavo & Co. on an elaborate set design. With Yachty's Lil Boat 2, Migos' Culture II and Gucci's array of different works, the trio has each built significant names for themselves across Atlanta and on a national scale, individually becoming each of rap's most interesting figures.
With the "Glacier Boyz" tape coming soon, we are hoping for more of the same from Gucci Mane, as well as a visit to Culture era Migos. Keep an eye out as the project is set to drop April 13.
