"This just goes to show that they don't like when you mind your business and you winning," says Critch in response to 6ix9ine's taunts.

Rising Rich Forever rapper Jay Critch and controversial emcee Tekashi 6ix9ine have been going back and forth on Instagram over the last few days. It's unclear exactly where the clash between the two rappers began, but it seems it may involve Jay Critch's recent feature in Fader, the title of which called him "The New New York." 6ix9ine has often referred to himself as the "King of New York." In a video post from earlier this week, he seemed to challenge other emcees in the city, writing, "The face of New York and they dont like it.... if you wanna change that make ya music sales & beat me on the charts. As For now shuttup and just watch me."

Later on, 6ix9ine told Critch to "meet" him on the charts in a comment on his IG post, while Critch said, "I never hated on @6ix9ine_ never said a word about him. Cause I don't care. But he clearly feels a way about me... This just goes to show that they don't like when you mind your business and you winning."

To that, 6ix9ine wrote, "You tagged me the other day and said 'why I'm watching face' and you told ya homie I was acting Hollywood when you met me. Don't lie to your fans. Anyway, we both from Brooklyn. It ain't nothing to meet up you down the street."

Jay Critch's "Did It Again" recently appeared on the first episode of FX's ATLANTA season 2. The song originally appeared on Rich Forever 3, a collaborative tape between Critch, Rich The Kid, and Famous Dex. Earlier this year, Rich The Kid announced Rich Forever 4 would be released soon.

6ix9ine has attracted controversy after it was made public that the rapper pleaded guilty to the use of a child in a sexual performance in 2015. The charges stemmed from a video the rapper filmed with a 13-year-old girl who appeared nude and engaged in a sex act with another man present. As part of his plea deal, the rapper was ordered to complete his GED, though he has not yet done so. A recent report revealed that 6ix9ine had been given "one last chance" to get his GED, with the deadline being extended to April 2018. If it is not completed, the rapper faces jail time.
