A$AP Rocky says "LongLiveA$AP" is delayed due to clearing samples, and will not be released until early 2013.

Around the time A$AP Mob released Lord$ Never Worry, A$AP Rocky said he had kept pushing the tape back because he is a perfectionist.  Now, A$AP fans (who already were growing impatient) will have to wait a bit longer for Rocky's solo LP LongLiveA$AP, as he's announced it is being pushed back to early 2013.

Apparently the issue this time isn't with the Harlem native's strive to always have things perfect, but the album is labored in getting sample clearance and mastering the final product. In an interview with 94.9's Nessa, via HHDX, Rocky said "“The issue with my album is I got things on it that’s so out of this world that it’s taking so long to get mastered," he said. "That’s the issue, and I refuse to take anything off. It’s complete, everything is being mastered and cleared right now."

The samples clearance are what is really holding things up, and now the A$AP Mob member says he aims for early 2013, but can't guarantee a date, "Its just so hard to get things cleared, because you got to find people to clear samples. It takes a long time and that’s why it keeps getting pushed back from Halloween to September 11th. I want to say it’s looking like top of the year, first quarter because it makes no sense to put out a album in December.”
