Jabari Parker puts on a show in his latest game.

After spending the beginning of the season on the sidelines to recover from a two surgeries that came as the result of a bad knee injury, Milwaukee Bucks guard Jabari Parker has been consistently proving his worth as he heads back out on the court, and that worth radiated when the Bucks faced off against Denver’s Nuggets Sunday night.

Coming into the match up with a season average of 11 points and 4.1 rebounds, Parker’s stats sit significantly below the figures that he posted last season, putting up 20.1 points and 6.2 rebounds each game. While much focus has shifted from the former No. 2 overall pick to Giannis Antetokounmpo, he has planted his stake as a key figure in the Bucks’ run toward the playoffs.

While the Bucks didn’t take the win in a close game of 128-125, the 23-year old Parker hit a season-high of 35 points, going 14-of-23 on shooting, sinking five 3-pointers and carrying out one throwdown that’s likely to be burned in the back of our minds for the remainder of the season when he crossed up the Nuggets’ Mason Plumlee to deliver on a one-handed dunk.
