Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon snagged his first touchdown catch since 2013 during yesterday's loss to the Green Bay Packers, and finished the game with three receptions for 69 yards.
Following the game, Packers defensive back Damarious Randall downplayed Gordon's performance, which has sparked a back-and-forth on twitter between the two.
In a story published on PackerNews.com, Randall was praised for his ability to shut down Gordon whenever they were matched up on the field.
"He had one catch," Randall said of Gordon. "Any more questions?"
Gordon caught wind of that comment via twitter and issued the following response, "Great Win for them but let’s be serious.. Considering several of our disadvantages as a team, this kid couldn’t hold my jock strap on my worst day lol..@RandallTime."
Shortly after Gordon's rebuttal, Randall said the 26-year old wide receiver "must be on that shit again," in reference to Gordon's history of drug and alcohol abuse.
Gordon and the Browns, still in search of their first win this season, will host the Baltimore Ravens in Week 15. The Packers, fighting for their playoff lives at 7-6, will take on the Panthers in Week 15 and it is believed that Aaron Rodgers will be making his return to the lineup.
