This fall, Macklemore dropped his second studio album Gemini, which featured appearances from Offset, Skylar Grey, Lil Yachty, Kesha, and more. And while his music might not be for everyone's liking, he remains one of the most affable and commercially friendly artists in the game. Today, the rapper has announced that he would be hitting the road with Kesha for a joint tour, appropriately stylized as The Adventures Of Kesha And Macklemore Tour. The tour is set to kick off next summer, and will feature a total of thirty dates, hitting cities like Las Vegas, Toronto, and more.
If you're a fan of either artist, you can check out this tour announcement video below, which features Macklemore attempting to be more marketable for the youth. Unfortunately for the "Thrift Shop" emcee, his attempts are an utter failure. While you're checking that out, mark down that the tour kicks off on June 6th at the Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix, and proceeds until August 5th, where it concludes in Tampa, Florida.
Macklemore and Kesha are also intending on using this tour to do some good in the world. For every ticket sold, Kesha will donate one dollar to the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN), while Macklemore will donate one dollar to M Plus1, which focuses on assisting in the search for racial and social justice. Tickets will be made available for sale on Friday, December 15th at noon via Live Nation. Is this something you might be interested in? The duo recently collaborated on the Gemini cut "Good Old Days."
