Hold my Beer-yoncé.

Beyoncé has many fans around the world, but that doesn't mean that she takes kindly to her name being used as a money maker without her consent.

Brooklyn's Lineup Brewing Company was hit with a cease and desist letter over their new pilsner that was called "Bieryoncé." Katarina Martinez, who is the owner of the company, said she put the beer flavor into production after she failed to make it out to one of Queen Bey's concerts despite having purchased tickets. Unfortunately, that sad day for her resulted in this sad turn of events for us all, seeing as the flavor will no longer be mass produced.

“As a Hispanic, female run business, I am very inspired by her so I thought I’d pay homage,” Martinez told Pitchfork. “We’re disappointed she didn’t take it as a compliment, but oh well. It was fun while it lasted!” The pilsner will still be available in New York while supplies last. There's no indication as to whether or not shipping to certain parts of the world will be made available. For now, you can check out an image of the can, the design no doubt modeled after Beyoncé's self-titled 2014 album release.

Even with this latest course of legal action, Beyoncé still had herself a monster year in terms of the money moves she made. Alongside Diddy, she was one of only two music artists to pull in nine figures, earning $105 million according to ForbesWith the holidays fast approaching, that's a nice amount of change that can be spent on gifts for her loved ones, just as long as it's not a certain kind of beer.
