Master P is suing a Cannabis company for leaving his products & merchandise "high" & dry.

It looks like Master P just got burned hard for a couple million dollars by a cannabis company who left him “high” and dry in the business TMZ reports.

Master P apparently joined the legal cannabis industry back in November of 2016 with the launch of his own brand, Master P's Trees. P claims he struck a deal with Privateer Holdings in March 2017 to produce and distribute his products in California. According to the documents, the deal was reportedly for 1 year, and Master P would promote the brand and cover half the production costs -- profits would be split down the middle. The official product launch was set for a July music fest where P was performing.

However that didn't go originally planned. In fact, according to P’s lawsuit, Privateer jumped ship on the deal in late July and left Master P to pay for all the costs. As a result, P is suing Privateer Holdings for breach of contract and fraud, claiming they never really wanted to work with him but rather get "an inside look into the urban and hip-hop demographic of cannabis users" for its own benefit.

Master P is reportedly suing for at least $25 million dollars in lost profits and damages. Whether or not he gets all that is another question, but that’s a hell of a lot of money.

This latest lawsuit from Master P comes a few weeks after he made headlines for coming to the defense of Colin Kaepernick, and wanting to help him start a new football league. "I’ll help him start his own league,” Master P said, who seemed to be sharing similar thoughts that Diddy did not long ago about football league ownership. “I think he should, I mean he’s a great football player. I think the NFL should have some competition.”

We’ll continue to keep you posted on the latest court developments moving forward. In the meantime, revisit his latest song with son Romeo Miller called "Love You Momma."
