An unlikely duo is about to take place for the highly anticipated reboot of MTV’s Total Request Live.

British singer-songwriter, Ed Sheeran, is set to hit the stage with the “Bad and Boujee” rappers, Migos, for the hit show that follows music video countdowns, live performances and interviews from some of the hottest artists, as HNHH previously reported.

The new season that’s set to premiere on October 2nd, has a number of hosts that may be familiar to many. The first set of rotating show-runners are social media moguls D.C. Young Fly, Tamara Dhia, Erik ZacharyAmy Pham, Lawrence Jackson and comedy duo The Dolan Twins. As well as actress Liza Koshy. TRL and all its glory will be airing weekdays at 3:30PM at MTV’s Time Square studios.

TRL premiered 19 years ago and was mainly hosted by Carson Daly. The show pulled the plug in 2008 after a lengthy 19 seasons with memorable moments that included Eminem calling the Backstreet Boys the “Whackstreet Boys,” Destiny’s Child announcing their break-up and Puff Daddy running on a treadmill for an entire episode.

MTV president Chris McCarthy recently spoke on the reboot to the New York Times where he said TRL is MTV at its best adding, "whether it’s news, whether it’s a show, whether it’s a docu-series — is about amplifying young people’s voices."

With all that is Hip Hop right now and the most radical artists that are making waves, only time will tell of the memorable moments set to take place for the new faces of TRL guests and live performances.

Migos have had fans buggin’ about when their upcoming Culture 2 drop date will be as it's slated for a Fall release. Quavo  recently mentioned that his homie's partner in crime, Cardi B, will be featured on the album and fans gotta "wait on it." It's easy to assume that the crew may tie in their TRL performance with an album premiere or a new track to keep fans at ease.

As for now, peep the latest release from Offset and Young Nudy (21 Savage's cousin) titled "Cinco De Mayo" where Offset goes off right at the top of the track rapping about getting $200K for a show.

Time will tell on all the madness and greatness set to air on TRL.
