Kyrie Irving isn't wanted back in his former city.

Kyrie Irving's trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers to Eastern Conference rival the Boston Celtics has certainly stoked some strong emotions among Cavs supporters, who seem to be in agreement that things could get salty later tonight (October 17th), when both teams tip of their respective regular seasons in a head-to-head match-up at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. The stakes are high on the court for Irving in his first game against his former team and, according to a member of the rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, he shouldn't relax too much off the court either.

In a video published by TMZ, Bone Thugs member Wish Bone spoke to one of the media outlet's cameramen concerning Irving's return to a city many felt that he spurned even further with his comments from last week. In case you missed it, the former Cavs point guard called Boston a "real, live sports city," which was interpreted as him throwing shade at Cleveland for being anything but. However, Wish Bone thinks he's dead wrong about that, calling the Cavs' home "one of the biggest sports cities there is" in America. Lest we forget that Irving helped the Cavaliers win their first-ever NBA championship in 2016, playing off LeBron James to have an impressive run of Finals appearances between 2015 and 2017. "I dunno, maybe he thinks it's going to be better over there for him, but time will tell," added the rapper.

When asked if Irving would be cool to go and check out one of his favorite spots out on the town that he left behind, Wish Bone's reply was straight to the point: "Not a chance." Further to that, the emcee stated that, if Irving decided to get wise with any the fans that happened to spot him during his brief stay back in Cleveland, he could get some hands laid on him pretty quickly. Though he had many great years as one of the stars of the Cavaliers franchise, it feels like the love he was shown by fans in Cleveland has cooled completely.

The Celtics and Cavs tip off at 8:00 p.m. ET, while the Golden State Warriors welcome the Houston Rockets to Oracle Arena in Oakland at 10:30 p.m. ET. Check your local listings for channel availability in your region.
