Be careful who you make fun of in school.

Janelle Monáe won't stop giving fans more amazing music. After delivering "PYNK," "Django Jane," and "Make Me Feel," the talented soul singer and actress is giving fans another serving from her upcoming album, Dirty Computer.

The latest single, called "I Like That" finds Monáe singing about being harassed in school. Although we doubt she was a "6" in school, one boy rated her as almost half a dime, prompting Monáe to get emotional. His taunting stuck with Monáe for years apparently, and the product of her pain is a beautifully written jam that walks the line of hip-hop and R&B masterfully. That boy is probably somewhere regretting his life.

Quotable Lyrics
Do you remember?
Uh, I remember when you laughed when I cut my perm off
And you rated me a six
I was like, “Damn”
But even back then with the tears in my eyes
I always knew I was the shit
