There once was a time when Tory Lanez and Drake detested each other. They each sent shots the others way and had one of the most prominent beefs in the Toronto scene. Both have since moved on and Tory has even gotten the Drake cosign for his new album Memories Don't Die. While Drake once believed that Lanez was biting his style, Tory has carved a lane of his own, developing a sound that is original and authentic, which can be seen at its highest on his most recent project. Drizzy agrees that the album has potential to be career-changing for Tory Lanez as he sent out a promotional message of encouragement to the "B.I.D." rapper on his Instagram story.
The 6ix God shared a photo of Tory's album cover, telling his supporters that it is out now and hashtagging #6. The two Torontonians have debatably become the city's top two hip-hop artists as the Canadian hub remains hot on the music scene. Although Drake is known to be generous with his cosigns, it is still remarkable that the two have outgrown their differences to support each other and help enhance their city's musical talents.
