As we wait on the arrival of Rolling Papers 2, Wiz Khalifa continues to share loose singles and other type of content to hold fans over until we get the project. Interestingly enough, Rolling Papers actually celebrated its seven year anniversary yesterday. To commemorate, Wiz Khalifa came through with something especially for the fans in the form of a raw freestyle.
Wiz Khalifa comes through with a raw and uncut "420 Freestyle." His new effort isn't done in the studio, instead, the rapper lets the beat ride out in the background while he kicks bars for a little over 3 minutes. It's almost a throwback in the sense that it's reminiscent of his "ATL Freestyle" back in the day where he smoked a spliff on camera and just delivered bars for the fans. At the top of the song, the beat has the "Eardrummers" tag which presumably means he has some unreleased Mike Will Made-It production in the cut. It's a dope little freestyle for a Friday evening and hopefully, this is an indication that we can hope to get Rolling Papers 2 by the time summer comes.
Aside from this little present to the fans, Wiz recently linked up with Smokepurpp for the remix of "Captain." He's also gearing up to perform Kush & Orange Juice for the first time in the U.K. this summer. Keep your eyes peeled for that.
Quotable Lyrics
Don't be talkin' to me crazy, if it ain't bout drama
And don't even be hit my phone if it ain't bout commas
I'mma ride for my gang, everyday with no problems
And if a n*gga want beef, we filet 'em and chop 'em
