Forbes has selected the top hip-hop music makers of the year.

The return of Forbes' prominent panel of "600 young innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders who are challenging the conventional wisdom and rewriting the rules for the next generation" has finally surfaced.

Thirty names are chosen in 20 categories and for the music sector, there are a handful of winners that have made their mark in hip-hop this year, earning them a memorable title.

One of the first names to be recognized is Carbi B. The rapper's meteoric rise has given her a number one single, "Bodak Yellow," and a few trophies from the BET Hip Hop Awards. Another name on the list is Lil Uzi Vert whose mark on music this year has gone unnoticed with topping the Billboard 200 chart with his album Luv Is Rage 2. His features and musical career continues with recent bars heard on "Don't Try Me" with Dave East.

Although the Migos respective members have trickled off to rap solo at times, the three of them have made the list for their hit single "Bad and Boujee" that took the lead on Billboard's 100 list and received half a billion streams on YouTube.

Putting out 18 mixtapes since 2011 (and counting) Young Thug has made the Forbes' Under 30 list for his dress sense and musical presence from the year, most notably his latest big drop, Super Slimeyfeaturing ATL's Future.

Another female to hit a milestone is none other than SZA, who brought some life back to her name with her acclaimed album Ctrl. The project peaked at number three on the Billboard charts. As of late, she was seen on set with her label mate, Kendrick Lamar, filming their collaborative track "Doves In The Wind."

Other hip-hop names to grace the list of 30 Under 30 are Young M.A., Travis Scott, Khalid, H.E.R. and Playboi Carti.

Do you guys think the list missed any important hip-hop acts?
