Since teaming up in July, Tyler, The Creator and Converse have proved to make one sick duo in the fashion world.
Their latest drop fronts bright coloured kicks that rock the classic Converse One Star silhouette, with a flower outlining the star symbol. This particular capsule offers three bold coloured shoes lined with premium suede such as “Jolly Green,” “Solar Power” and “Vanilla.” GOLF le FLEUR and Converse also unveil a Shepra (outwear) collection that offers a bomber jacket, bucket hat and staple pieces such as hoodies and T-shirts.
Fans at the retail store, Kasina, in Seoul will be able to get their hands on the sneakers before anyone else as they will drop on October 18th where a small number of those who purchase get a chance to see a Tyler, The Creator performance. The rest of the drop will be available worldwide on November 2nd via the online store. The sneakers are set at $100 USD and clothing prices range from $35 USD to $150 USD, for the bomber in particular.
Tyler and his Golf Wang brand aren't slowing down with the loud, stand-out pieces. Just last we week we posted about the Fall/Winter collection that was filled with bold colours, loud patterns unique textures, some of which Tyler modelled himself. Newly introduced tailored pieces and fur shorts with a matching beanie are what stood out most in the collection along with the usual Golf Wang collectives like patches, socks, books and slippers.
Aside from his fashion adventures, we haven't heard much from Tyler in terms of new music or any collaborations. We posted a video a while back of him going off in joy after hearing his track "See You Again" being played on the radio.
Before he surprises us with something new, take a look at a post we did that feature 10 essential songs by the rapper, to get re-acquainted with the music that brings all of his likes together.
