LeBron James goes viral.

LeBron James didn't hold back in his response to Donald Trump withdrawing Steph Curry and his Golden State Warriors' invitation to visit the White House. As a result, the Internet hasn't held back when it comes to showing support for the NBA superstar's terse words for the President.

In the now-famous tweet, James called Trump a "bum" and added that going to the White House was a "great honor" prior to his reign as President. The Cleveland Cavaliers star followed up this statement with a video that he uploaded onto social media,  which continued to fire shots and the United States' much-maligned leader. “It’s basically at a point where I’m just a little frustrated because this guy that we’ve put in charge has tried to divide us once again,” said LeBron. "We all know how much sports brings us together, how much passion it has, how much we love and care, and the friendships and everything that it creates. For him to try and use this platform to divide us even more, it’s not something I can stand for and it’s not something I could be quiet about. [He’s] asking NFL owners to get rid of players because they’re exercising their rights, and that’s not right."

The tweet has since gone viral, getting nearly 600,000 retweets and over 1.2 million likes at the time of this writing. The swell of support in regard to LeBron's statement hasn't changed the President's stance on protesting in sports. Trump doubled down on his thoughts about players who have been kneeling during "The Star Spangled Banner," implying that many fans are staying away from the the games because they feel as though the league is tolerating disrespect towards the flag and the country.

The NFL had already issued a statement calling out the Donald's lack of respect for the league, its teams and its players.
