Young Guru, well-known as Jay-Z's audio engineer and DJ, became one of the top engineers in the rap game and earned a Grammy for his work on "Empire State of Mind." Now the legendary engineer is going on a tour to teach about the importance of his work.
In a joint effort with Grammy U, Guru will be visiting 13 cities for an educational program titled "Era Of The Engineer." It launches April 8th in Philadelphia and runs til April 28th in Memphis. The tour is sponsored by HP and Discmakers, and will provide insight into the importance of creating good music and quality engineering in today's music industry.
