It's been one year since Nike first introduced Paul George's signature sneaker, the Nike PG1 which means its about time for the sequel. Nike has not yet released any official information regarding the PG2 but leaked images have already hit the net in an OKC inspired colorway.
George's first signature shoe was inspired by the Nike Zoom Crusader, which was his favorite basketball shoe until the PG1 was designed, and judging by early pics of the PG2, the upcoming model shares a similar inspiration.
The overall silhouette of the PG2 resembles the PG1, but the glaring difference is the lack of the forefoot strapped which was utilized on his first shoe. The PG2s are built on a reinforced mesh forefoot accompanied by a suede overlay. Additionally the kicks feature a bootie construction, Zoom Air cushioning, a marbled rubber outsole, a couple of Swooshes and Paul George's 'PG' logo on the tongue.
Take a look at the early images below and stay tuned for official word from Nike.
