Pac Div Return After 6 Years With "1st Baptist"

Mibbs, BeYoung and LIKE! make up Pac Div, the SoCal version of Huey, Dewey and Louie setting up office outside the mass media storm of LA. The group preemptively broke up to work on their solo endeavors, making their collective presence known in a variety of unsuspected ways. 1st Baptist is their first record as a unit in over 6 years. Their last, GMB was met with a healthy dose of skepticism by critics. It appears as if the boys at Pac Div have reconvened with a different outlook in their third commercial attempt.

What really facilitated their rebuild was a step back as an outsiders. Although they never wavered from their purest intentions, it was as consultants that they took a natural step in progression. The three rappers received Grammy nods for their work Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city and Anderson Paak’s Malibu, while on hiatus.
