"Jumanji" 2 is currently under production.

Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle dominated at the box office and was such a favourite by many that Sony Pictures has greenlit the second instalment of the film.

Keeping the crew together with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, and Nick Jonas, the second film will be helmed by Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner. Jumanji has become Sony's highest grossing movie in sometime after raking in the most profit, stealing the number one spot from Star Wars: The Last Jedi during New Year’s weekend, earning $35 million in the United States.

The film had a $100 million budget and grossed $857 million across the world.

As many may know, the film is based on the 1995 original starring the late Robin Williams that sees children playing a mysterious board game. As they begin to play, it unleashes a man that has been trapped for decades in a world that brings the creatures and monsters to real life. The only way to get things back to normal is to finish the game.

The release date or the premise of the current follow-up has yet to be unveiled.

Speaking of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, he just recently announced that he will be hosting and producing an upcoming physical competition reality show called The Titan Games. “We wanted to create a new kind of athletic competition unlike anything ever attempted before,” he said of the 10-episode series. No word on the official premiere date, but keep it locked on the site for more info.
