This weekend, sneakerheads are gearing up for the much anticipated release of the all-red "Win Like '96" Air Jordan 11. The kicks, which retail for $220, are scheduled to launch at all major retailers tomorrow, December 9th, at 10am ET.
However, one opportunistic thief in New York City didn't have to wait for Saturday's drop to get his hands on a pair of the highly coveted Air Jordan 11s. In fact, he got his mits on a whole crate's worth.
In a video shared by the New York Post, the man simply picked up the large crate of sneakers from a pile of goods and then casually took off with the loot while his buddy looked on. According to the NY Post, it all went down around 10pm last night at Niketown NYC, located at East 57th Street.
Police estimate that the crate of sneakers is worth approximately $7,200.
