Since the release of More Life last year, Drake took a step back from dropping music and seemed more focus on other ventures. However, he came back strong as ever a few weeks back with the release of Scary Hours EP. Shortly after, Drake delivered a stand-out verse on Migos' "Walk It Talk It" from Culture II. While he's been breaking records and marking new feats in his career, his most recent guest verse has helped him earn another his 70th top 40 single on the charts.
After the release of Culture II, over half of the projects song's landed on the Billboard Hot 100 charts including the Drake assisted "Walk It Talk It." The song has officially landed at #18 on the Hot 100 which marks Drake's 70th Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, Billboard reports. In addition, it also marks his 160th entry on the Hot 100 in total. Drake's currently holds the most Hot 100 entries for a solo artist. On a overall scale, he now sits behind the Glee cast who hold 207 and Lil Wayne sits behind Drake with 137 Hot 100 entries. However, Weezy sits above Drake with 71 top 40 singles with Elvis Presley leading 80.
For the past week, Drake's been breaking a ton of records due to "God's Plan" and "Diplomatic Immunity." The rapper surpassed Jay-Z and Lil Wayne for most top 10's on the Billboard Hot 100 among rappers and shortly after, it was revealed that he's the only other artist aside from The Beatles to have at least twenty Top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 within the span of a decade.
With all these recent records Drake's broke within a few weeks, it's a good indication that he's about to have another highly successful year in 2018.
