Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi are all over this "Total Xanarchy" highlight.

If you heard "Shine Hard" independently of Lil Xan's new album Total Xanarchy, you'd probably assume it's a Rae Sremmurd song. Swae Lee delivers the soaring hook as well as a highly quotable verse, while Jxmmi closes the track with an inventively melodic 16. That leaves room for only one Xan verse, making him feel more like a feature than the lead artist. Then again, it's not out of character for Swae to spread his wings over someone else's song. "Unforgettable" was one of the biggest hits of French Montana's career, and he's probably got about 8 bars on the song, which is led by a sticky Swae falsetto. "Shine Hard" also feels like it has hit potential, as Swae delivers a freestyle-like energy that adds up to a supremely catchy hook. Xan is, by comparison, much lower energy, slipping into a double-time flow that sticks with a casual confidence. As usual, the often underrated Jxmmi ties it all together with a verse brings new melodic ideas to the track while still complimenting his brother's blueprint.

Quotable Lyrics:
Big sip with a big cup
That's just quenchin' my thirst
Quenchin' my thirst
Put all these clothes on the counter
Swipe then I'm thankin' the clerk
Every foot, step on the gas
Make that whip jerk
Any scene I walk up on
They callin' me sir, callin' me sir
